Sign in as the organization administrator. Prepare a unique username and the required validity period for each reader.

Open Accounts
Choose Accounts, then Create account.

Set reader details
Enter a display name, unique username, temporary password, language, and validity period.
Capture the account form using fictional details and an empty password field.
Review and create
Check the identity and validity period, then save the account. Communicate credentials through a secure channel.
Capture a newly created demonstration reader in the account list.
Manage ongoing access
Edit the account to update details or validity. Suspend an account to block sign-in when access is no longer appropriate.

Account changes can end active sessions. Reader account validity and document permission validity must both be current for reading access.
